Privacy Policy for Property Rental Management

This Privacy Policy describes how Md Arafat Rahman (“we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, and discloses your information when you use our mobile application, Property Rental Management – PRM (the “App”).
1. Information We Collect
We collect information to provide and improve the service for you. The types of information we collect depend on whether you use the App as a guest or create an account.
a. Information You Provide to Us:
Account Information: When you create an account, we collect your email address and password to secure your account and allow you to sign in.
Property & Tenant Data: We collect the information you enter into the App, which may include:
Property details (name, address, rent amount, photos).
Tenant details (name, contact information, lease dates, financial details).
Financial records (income and expense details).
Maintenance requests and schedules.
Appointments and deadlines.
b. Information Collected Automatically:
The App itself does not automatically collect personal information about you or your device. However, we use Google’s Firebase services for authentication and database storage, which may collect anonymous usage and analytics data to help us improve the service and diagnose issues. This may include device type, operating system, and crash reports. This data is anonymized and cannot be used to identify you personally.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect for the following purposes:
To Provide and Maintain the App: Your data is essential for the core functionality of the App, such as managing your properties, tracking finances, and organizing your schedule.
To Secure Your Account: Your email and password are used to authenticate your account and prevent unauthorized access.
To Send Notifications: If you enable notifications, we use your data to send you reminders for rent payments, appointments, lease expiries, and other important deadlines.
To Improve Our Services: We may use anonymous and aggregated data to understand how users interact with the App, identify areas for improvement, and fix bugs.
3. Data Storage and Security
We offer two ways to use the App, each with a different data storage method:
Guest Mode (Local Storage): If you use the App as a guest, all the data you enter is stored exclusively on your local device. We do not have access to this information, and it will be lost if you uninstall the App.
Signed-In Mode (Cloud Storage): If you create an account, your data is securely stored on Google’s Firebase Firestore servers. This allows you to access your data from multiple devices and ensures your data is backed up. We take reasonable measures to protect your information, and Firebase provides industry-standard security for its services.
4. Data Sharing and Disclosure
We do not sell, trade, or otherwise transfer your personally identifiable information to outside parties for marketing or any other purposes. Your data is used solely to provide the services offered within the Property Rental Management – PRM app.
We may disclose your information if required to do so by law or in response to valid requests by public authorities (e.g., a court or a government agency).
5. Your Data Rights and Choices
You have control over your data within the App. You can:
Access and Edit: You can view and edit your property, tenant, and financial information at any time within the App.
Delete Data: You can delete individual entries (e.g., properties, tenants, transactions) directly within the App. Deleting your account will result in the permanent deletion of all your associated data from our servers.
Export Data: The App provides a feature to export your data for your own records.
6. Children’s Privacy
Our App is not intended for use by anyone under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under 13. If we become aware that we have collected Personal Information from a child under 13, we will take steps to delete that information from our servers.
7. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page. You are advised to review this Privacy Policy periodically for any changes.
