This Privacy Policy governs the manner in which MediTracker (“we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, maintains, and discloses information collected from users (each, a “User”) of the MediTracker: Pet Meds mobile application (the “App”).
1. Data Collection and Usage
A. User-Entered Pet Data
The core function of the App is to store and manage pet health and medication data (e.g., pet name, medication name, dosage, schedule, log entries).
Data Storage: All User-Entered Pet Data is stored locally on your device and is not transmitted to our servers unless you explicitly use a built-in feature designed for data sharing (e.g., cloud backup or co-caretaker sharing, if implemented).
Use of Data: This data is used solely to provide you with the services of the App, such as generating reminders and maintaining a history log.
B. Anonymous Usage Data (Non-Personal)
We may use third-party tools (like Firebase, App Store Analytics, or Google Play Services) that automatically collect limited, non-personal information about your device and how you interact with the App.
Examples: Device type, operating system version, the time and date of your use, and crash reporting data.
Purpose: This data is used to analyze app performance, diagnose technical issues, and improve the App’s user experience. This data is aggregated and does not identify you personally.
2. No Personal Identifiable Information (PII)
We do not collect any personally identifiable information (PII) about you, such as your name, email address, physical address, or phone number, through the routine use of the App.
If you contact us directly (e.g., via a support email), we will only use the contact information you provide to respond to your inquiry.
3. Data Sharing and Disclosure
We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal or pet data to third parties.
Anonymous, aggregated demographic information not linked to any personal identification regarding visitors and users may be shared with our business partners, trusted affiliates, and advertisers for the purposes outlined above (e.g., for general marketing or app performance analysis).

We may disclose your information if required to do so by law or in the good faith belief that such action is necessary to comply with a legal obligation, protect and defend our rights or property, or protect the personal safety of Users of the App or the public.
4. Security of Data
We strive to use commercially acceptable means to protect your information. Because User-Entered Pet Data is stored locally on your device, its security is primarily dependent on your device’s own security features (e.g., password, encryption, etc.).
We implement reasonable security measures on our end (for any collected Anonymous Usage Data) to guard against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction.
5. Children’s Privacy
The App is not directed at or intended for users under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal identifiable information from children under 13. If a parent or guardian becomes aware that their child has provided us with information without their consent, they should contact us.
6. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page within the App or on our website. You are advised to review this Privacy Policy periodically for any changes. Changes to this Privacy Policy are effective when they are posted on this page.
